I'm Yanilis Diaz, the founder of found youth.
I'm an M.D. by training. My first job was as a pharmacy technician at a small neighborhood pharmacy, where I learned the quiet art of preparation, dosing, and the trust patients place in whoever's mixing their medicine. Later, I worked in an OB/GYN office as a physician's clinical assistant, sitting alongside women during some of the most vulnerable conversations of their lives.
Then I went to medical school.
And somewhere between the pharmacy shelves and the exam rooms and the textbooks, I noticed a gap. Patients knew how to be treated for disease. They did not know how to prevent it. They knew how to see a doctor when something broke. They did not know how to keep their bodies whole. The wellness world was loud. The medical world was reactive and the space between the two; where real, quiet, everyday care lives, was mostly empty.
I started thinking about how to fill it.
Then, last year, my body forced my hand.
I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. For several months, I was in critical condition, weight dropping, fatigued, most days spent in the small brave act of staying still. Modern medicine kept me alive. But it was targeted peptides, compounded therapies from the same broader category we will one day carry, that supported my healing. They helped my muscle come back, helped me find my way to a healthy weight again and gave me the energy I needed to keep fighting for my wellbeing. I did not just get better. I learned, on my own skin, what it feels like when the right protocol meets the right body at the right time.
Found youth is what I built with that lesson.
