Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get started?

Every protocol at Found Youth begins with a physician review. You complete a short intake describing your goals and health history, an Arora Health clinician reviews it, and if the protocol is appropriate for you, they issue a prescription. Your medication is then filled by The Pharmacy Hub and shipped discreetly to your door.

How are the medications prepared?

All compounded medications available through Found Youth are prepared by a state-licensed compounding pharmacy operating under Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. Compounded medications are prescribed and prepared for individual patients based on a physician's determination of medical need.

Are your medications FDA-approved?

Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. They are prepared by a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, in accordance with state and federal regulations governing pharmacy compounding. The active pharmaceutical ingredients used are sourced from FDA-registered facilities.

What states do you serve?

Prescription fulfillment is available in all 50 U.S. states through affiliated medical providers and The Pharmacy Hub. However, specific medications, formulations, and dosing options may vary by state due to differences in state pharmacy regulations, prescribing rules, and dispensing requirements. If a particular formulation is not available in your state, your clinician will discuss alternatives with you.

How is my health information protected?

Your Protected Health Information (PHI) is handled in accordance with HIPAA and applicable state privacy laws. Please see our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices for a full description of how we collect, use, and protect your PHI, and your rights regarding it.

How does telehealth work?

Consultations are conducted asynchronously via secure messaging with your Arora Health clinician. See our Consent to Telehealth for details about the format, your rights, and the risks and benefits of asynchronous telemedicine.

What if I have questions about my medication or care?
